TO THE EMPIRE

  1. Stock up on items and get weapons forged in Kakkara.
  2. Use Kakkara's cannon travel at the east part of town and choose the Empire.

SOUTHTOWN

  • IMPORTANT TREASURE: None
  • ENEMIES: None

  1. Buy 2 quilted hoods, 3 ruby vests, and 3 golem rings at the shop
  2. Now your main goal is to get into the guarded sewers. First go to the sewer entrance. Then talk to Mara, in the far northwest end of town. Remember the number 634. Go back to the sewer and give the guard the secret number.

THE SEWERS

  • ENEMIES: Iffishes, Dinofishes, Blue Drops, Mad Mallards
  • BOSS: None

  1. It's pretty easy to find your way around in here and the enemies aren't all too hard. Just look for the way on instead of going onto random platforms.

NORTHTOWN

  • IMPORTANT TREASURE: None
  • ENEMIES: None

  1. You will arrive in the Resistance's hideout.
  2. DO NOT talk to the old man on the first floor. It doesn't hurt you, but it annoys me to death when he says the first sentence of the story and doesn't continue! ARGH!
  3. Buy 3 tiger caps, 2 tiger suits, 1 tiger bikini, 3 frosty rings, and stock up on items at the shop
  4. Your MP is probably running low, so go to the ruins and finish it up then sleep at the inn. At the ruins, you'll find Phanna, who's being controlled by Thanatos. Krissie will come and take her away.

NORTHTOWN RUINS

  • IMPORTANT TREASURE: Spear's Orb, Bow's Orb, Sword's Orb, Whip's Orb, Boomerang's Orb
  • ENEMIES: Wizard Eyes, Weepy Eyes, Ghouls, Imps, Grave Bats, Blue Drops, LA Funks, Tomato Men, Zombies, Specters, Green Drops, Red Drops, Robin Foots, Dark Funks
  • BOSS: Doom's Wall, Doom's Eye, Vampire

  1. In the first room, head straight. You can get the weapon orbs later.
  2. In the first really long hallway, take only the last door.
  3. In the big roo you reach, head south. You will go througha few side rooms and reach a switch. Step on it and go back to the big room.
  4. Stay on the top level and go to the upper-left corner. Get the Sword's Orb.
  5. Go back and then down the stairs. Step on the switch then go through the door behind you.
  6. You will soon reach a room with lots of spikes. Go around them and step on the switch. Then go up into the next room.
  7. In a little while you will finally reach the first boss(es). He fears Lumina, but seeing as you don't have her (I think it's a her) magic yet, you'll just have to settle for things like Fireball and powered-up attacks. Only attack when the eye is open. You will be rewarded wit the whip's orb.
  8. Go on. Head up the stairs. You will find Dyluck, who kills Girl. Then Boy attacks him and he gets his senses back. Then go through the back door. Girl is automatically revived by Dyluck.
  9. To beat this guy, attack him when his cape is opened with a full-powered attack. If you want to get him to quickly open his cape, try casting any 2 MP spell of Sprite's. (Any spell will work, these are just the most efficient.) When Vampire is biting someone, quickly attack him because he's vulnerable but not for long. You will be rewarded with the Boomerang's orb.
  10. Use the magic rope to leave, then go back in. Head up the stairs to find the Spear's Orb and Bow's Orb.

NORTHTOWN

  • IMPORTANT TREASURE: None
  • ENEMIES: None
  • BOSS: None

  1. Go to the inn and then down the steps to find Watts. Forge weapons.
  2. If you are low on MP, use up Girl's magic then stay at the inn.
  3. Go to the shop and stock up on items.
  4. Go to the coffee house AKA the resistance hideout. Krissie will greet you and tell you that the Emperor has finally agreed to stop.

THE EMPEROR'S CASTLE

  • IMPORTANT TREASURE: Glove's Orb, 1000GP, Axe's Orb, Whip's Orb, Javelin's Orb, Flammie Drum.
  • ENEMIES: Emberman, Armored Men, Dark Ninjas, Mystic Books
  • BOSS: Metal Mantis (1220HP, 40MP, no fear), Mech Rider

  1. Follow the knights' orders for directions
  2. When you reach the emperor, you find out it was all a trick. You will end up in jail.
  3. Escape is easy. Talk to the guard. He'll let you out. But beware, you'll have to fight the Metal Mantis.
  4. Just use powered-up attacks and any of Sprite's 2-MP HP damaging spells. But don't use Gem Missile, he's strong against Gnome. You shouldn't have any problem with him, other than minor HP damage. You will be rewarded with the Glove's orb.
  5. Step on the square that appears. You will get transported. Talk to the yellow thing to get to the other side.
  6. Don't forget to pick up the 1000GP in that room.
  7. Step on the switch to save the people in the resistance. (But they're idiots and won't leave the jail cell even though it's open.)
  8. When you get outside, head to the entrance to the far right to get the Axe's Orb and Whip's orb.
  9. When you go in the middle door, head up the left stairway (the right one is just a dead end.)
  10. When you reach the room with lots of triangle-in-circle switch thingies, go to the right and step on that one.
  11. After you get transported, talk to the switch on the wall by the triangle-in-circle switch thing. You'll be able to walk right on through.
  12. Then you'll reach the Emperor, who will lead you into a battle with Ghestar.
  13. To handle this, just attack him and cast Sprite's 2MP HP damaging spells. It's a piece of cake- he died even before I was able to find out how much Gem Missile took off! You will be rewarded with the Javelin's orb.
  14. Ghestar burns the castle when you beat him.... But Truffle comes with Flammie! You're saved! Truffle gives you the Flammie Drum. You can use it to call Flammie.
